In het doctoraatsproject van Eline Vandael aan de KU Leuven (2016, The risk of
QTc-prolongation and Torsade de Pointes in clinical practice) is het risico op
QT-verlenging en het huidige risicomanagement in verschillende
patiëntengroepen in kaart gebracht. Bovendien werd er onderzocht hoe
zorgverleners beter ondersteund kunnen worden om met dit risico om te gaan
in de klinische praktijk. Specifiek voor officina-apothekers werd een eenvoudige
risicoscore en een beslissingsondersteunend algoritme ontwikkeld. U kan dit
